My First True Blue


Better off alone then disappointed on Lover's day;
It could have been so great just you and me.
I would have started to plan and thought of things to say,
All the romantic dreams of what it could be.

Today would have been my first time,
The excitement was building with in.
I would have my very first Valentine!

Alone in sprit is how I feel,
Even though I know your here.
You don't like the day so I'll deal,
I Love You isn't enough and I want to show you my heart, my dear.

All this makes me think that hopeless romantics are no more,
I'm the last one that's true.
My dreams, thoughts and prayers crashed on the floor,
And as much as I hate to say it , I'm that red valentine turn blue.
