The lack of light hides the eyes

Still so unhappy I should feel something but there is nothing there
It all feels so damn empty.
Why is there no love behind it?
Is something so totally missing?
What happened to the talking and the cuddling? Why don’t I fell important and special
Where is the walking on water thing?
I must have missed it somewhere.
I don’t see that light inside of me.
It’s not there and I’m sure that it won’t be.
I’m trying to too hard to make it appear.
It’s not there and maybe that’s what’s missing.
