To what use to be a friendship I say cheers!
Before it all got complicated, it was easy to just walk away.
You were nothing special, nothing I couldn't just forget about.
I liked it better when you were just a feeling, not a confirmation.
Then I could be simply normal, plain and honest.
It hurts when you try to walk away
To say goodbye, not to say hello another day.
I know how you feel, and I feel the same
